Recently, our company’s Drive & Automatic Control area successfully ended a new OVERHAUL, this time for GEARLESS SAG 16 and 17 Mills in Codelco Chuquicamata Division.
This important Project for HIGHSERVICE was performed in a 30 days record time with excellent results, zero accidents and an outstanding technical quality. The challenge was not minor because it had a large number of tasks and associated times committed to its thorough execution.
Among the most important activities were: Stator General Maintenance, Revolving Field, Coils and Windings Cryogenic (Dry Ice) Cleaning and the Drive and Control System Upgrading for both mills. This ensures high availability indicators and retrieving of important assets for this concentrator plant.
Congratulations to the work team for complying with the safety measures with zero errors and for contributing a remarkable professionalism, ending this overhaul without disabling incidents or difficulties in the implementation. Both mills were delivered in full compliance to the client.
